Just for reference that bumper in the foreground right corner is my lifted Chevy, up 40 inches from the ground. There's been about a foot more snow added on top of this. And with below freezing temperatures it's not melting anytime quick. With Spring twenty something days away I'm not really sure if the camper will be close to ready to camp with by Summer.
If you live in a warmer climate Please Please Please send some sun this way.
I do have my list going on what is left to be done. I have a short list which is to make the camper camp-able, but not necessarily fully functioning. This list includes building the bed platform, finishing the wiring for both the interior 12v, 110 amp, and the running and brake lights. It also included new tires and brakes. This is all I need to get some camping in. I don't need running water, or even working interior lights. Just a bed is all I require. The rest can fall into place along the way.
The reason for this short list is that my father passed in December. I've lived here in this house 38 years (tomorrow) and we are trying to purchase it. But it is a definite fixer-upper, It makes the camper look like a breeze to finish. So with that being said more time will be spent on the house than the camper for a bit. But I do have the motivation to get some stuff done in it during the day.
All I need is for Alex to finish running the wiring and then I can put up the insulation, and the paneling for the walls, and frame out the bed. I don't need help for that stuff... hehe! And once the insulation is up we can work on it during the hot weather too by putting in a portable AC.
Yep I have it all planned. Now this snow really needs to melt.
Until Next time...
