About This Blog

I know that there are others who have attempted and completed a camper renovation project such as this. I would love to know your thoughts and ideas. Maybe you came across some of the same issues that I might be stumped on, maybe you know a great place to get parts. Or you're part of a camper forum with like minded people. I would LOVE to meet you (here online of course), please feel free to email me, or leave your email in my comments so that I can contact you.

Busy Weekend - Things are getting done.

OIts not too much longer until the camper needs to be rolling, and things are progressing very well.

My Fiancé wire brushed all of the old paint off of the tongue and frame and gave it a nice coat of satin black.

While he was at the task of painting, he also sprayed the inner fendee wells black also before putting the new wheels and tires on.
We now need to find some trim for the edge of the fender wells. I'm really not interested in putting plastic skirts on.

Although I don't have a photo yet, the running lights and brake lights all work now.

So excited! It's road legal now, and I need to get it registered this week.

The other huge breakthrough is that the tarp is oficially off. One skylight is out, and two more need to be removed to be replaced with new ones before sealing the roof.

Door still needs to be finished, and clear glass needs to be cut for it. But the frame is all ready.

More pictures to come tomorrow.
