About This Blog

I know that there are others who have attempted and completed a camper renovation project such as this. I would love to know your thoughts and ideas. Maybe you came across some of the same issues that I might be stumped on, maybe you know a great place to get parts. Or you're part of a camper forum with like minded people. I would LOVE to meet you (here online of course), please feel free to email me, or leave your email in my comments so that I can contact you.

Deadlines Make Work Happen Quicker

Well I'm happy to say work is progressing on the reno. The brake magnets have been cleaned on the driver's side, and the new bearings ready to go in.

Passenger side is done now with new tires and rims. I need to paint the the lug bolts (nope not nuts).

Another issue we came across was the door. Last season the bottom trim fell off, then this spring the wood in the bottom of the door fell off. Then in the past week the door refused to close. So we took a peek up there and all of the wood frame was rotted. So off came the door yesterday.

Below is the door almost apart.  I plan on replacing the frosted window with glass you can actually see out of. If I want privacy then I'll put up curtains.
